Gilmore on gambling revenue

Gov. Schwarzenegger has turned to Indian gaming compacts as a way to generate money for the state. He has also suggested that the state try to get more money from its lottery. Do you believe that gambling is an appropriate way to generate revenue for the state? Are you in favor of off-reservation casinos?answer:
I would not change the existing laws that have been enacted through a combination of statewide propositions and legislative acts. I am comfortable with the existing agreements set between the tribes who operate casinos and the state. I do not encourage or support off-reservation casinos nor do I support reservation shopping.
